class altair.TimeLocale(date=Undefined, dateTime=Undefined, days=Undefined, months=Undefined, periods=Undefined, shortDays=Undefined, shortMonths=Undefined, time=Undefined, **kwds)#

TimeLocale schema wrapper Locale definition for formatting dates and times.

Parameters:
datestr

The date (%x) format specifier (e.g., “%m/%d/%Y”).

dateTimestr

The date and time (%c) format specifier (e.g., “%a %b %e %X %Y”).

daysSequence[str], Vector7string

The full names of the weekdays, starting with Sunday.

monthsSequence[str], Vector12string

The full names of the months (starting with January).

periodsSequence[str], Vector2string

The A.M. and P.M. equivalents (e.g., [“AM”, “PM”]).

shortDaysSequence[str], Vector7string

The abbreviated names of the weekdays, starting with Sunday.

shortMonthsSequence[str], Vector12string

The abbreviated names of the months (starting with January).

timestr

The time (%X) format specifier (e.g., “%H:%M:%S”).
